The kitchen shed is a series of photographs that looks at perception of function in existing objects. Cross-references functions of hand tools, that are found in both the kitchen and the shed. The aim was to look at how setting effects our interpretations of an objects function and how that relates to the setting we expect to use it in. Using these notions within my work to play with what happens to us when expectation is disrupted and when objects cross the line from acceptable to unacceptable.
